"  What advice do you have for someone new to derby?
Fear keeps us from a lot of incredible opportunities. Stop being afraid and just try it. If you fall, you get up and try it again. We all fall, what matters is that you get back up. Keep getting back up and stop comparing yourself to others; uniqueness is an incredibly invaluable quality. "

What do you love best about roller derby?  I love how the teammates are with each other. To be honest I was really intimidated by most of the girls and now I’m really good friends with some of the them.

" The person that inspires me on the track is YoShee Attax. She has stuck to derby regardless of all the obstacles placed in front of her. She might not know it, but she stopped me from quitting on the day of our first scrimmage. I was ready to walk out, but she just kept pushing me out of my negative mindset. "

What do you love best about roller derby?  I love the friendships that I have made and I love the sport itself.

" I've had many amazing memories since I started in 2012, but the most recent ones would be skating in the inaugural roster of Team Philippines for the 2018 World Cup and also finally winning the Home Team Championship with the Balboa Bandits!! "

My favorite derby memory....has to be the night before I went to first date. My boyfriend brought me to the last SFV official game of the season and I met HardLee Ann Angel. A skater flew into the crowd...into me 👌🏼😬😘 it was so EXCITING ! I was sold and that night I signed up with HardLee and started this incredible journey.

What do you love best about roller derby?  I love the teamwork.  That I know that my sisters are always there for me.
